From compact 1.5-tonne mini diggers through 8, 13 and 20-tonne machines up to 35-tonne excavators — plus wheel loaders, graders and other earthmoving plant — we've loaded them all. The T909 runs a purpose-built low-loader with full ramp access and proper tie-down points rated for the load.
We'll confirm dimensions, weight and any road restrictions before we arrive so there are no delays at loading. Excavators are typically secured with four-point chain-and-binder rigging checked against manufacturer tie-down specs.

Pre-Move Check
We confirm machine dimensions, weight and any issues with the route — bridges, low wires, permit requirements — before we arrive.
Loading
Arrive on time, ramp out, machine loaded and secured properly. We won't leave until everything is safe and compliant.
Delivery
Direct delivery to site. We call ahead so the recipient is ready, and we don't leave until the machine is off and stable.
Small Plant & Compact Equipment
Not everything is a 30-tonne excavator. We regularly move compact machines including ride-on mowers, access equipment, skid steers, compactors and small generator sets.
If it needs a low-loader or flat deck, give us a call. We take the same care with small loads as we do with the big ones.

Common Questions
For most machinery moves we can work on 24–48 hours notice. Urgent jobs are possible — call Austin directly to discuss. For complex oversized loads requiring permits, allow 3–5 business days.
Yes. We operate 7 days a week and understand that project schedules don't always follow Monday–Friday. Weekend and early-morning starts are no problem.
Based in Hawke's Bay, we operate throughout the North Island regularly and can arrange South Island moves with advance notice. Give us the route and we'll confirm.
We carry carrier's liability insurance. We recommend confirming your own machinery insurance also covers transport — most policies do, but it's worth checking with your broker.
